Canelo Vs Golovkin 2 Odds

It’s the fight boxing fans have been waiting months for Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin stage a rematch of their controversial draw from last year. They do battle Saturday night on pay-per-view from Las Vegas for Golovkin’s WBA/WBC middleweight titles. Golovkin comes in as the boxing odds favorite. Canelo vs Golovkin 2 Odds & Expert Prediction Boxing isn’t just a sport. Canelo opened at -350 on the same betting site, while Golovkin’s odds were +260. Now, some will argue that there is serious betting value in taking Golovkin at those odds. This is a genuine world-class talent who has only ever lost one fight — to Canelo — and in my opinion, he probably deserved to win that fight.

The odds for who Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez will fight next have been released.

After Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin's respective victories on Dec. 11 and 12, the odds on who both men will fight next are officially out, according to MyBookie.ag. The boxing superstars have competed against each other twice before, with Alvarez edging Golovkin in their second meeting in May 2018. Their first bout ended in a draw a year prior.

The odds of both men crossing paths for a 2021 trilogy fight sit at +250. For those unfamiliar with betting odds, each bet is assumed to be placed at $100. Therefore, if someone were to bet on the third fight taking place, and the fight was to happen, they would earn $250 as a reward for getting it right.

For Alvarez, a fight with Caleb Plant (+150) is the likeliest to happen next, according to the oddsmakers. Golovkin, however, is looking at a potential showdown with Billy Joe Saunders at +200 for 2021. Saunders won his last bout against Martin Murray in a lopsided 12-round decision on Dec. 4, as he looks to challenge Alverez to a mega-fight in the near future.

There is also the longshot possibility of Golden Boy Promotions' Oscar De La Hoya making a return to the ring to fight Alvarez or Golovkin, though the odds of the fight happening in 2021 are highly unlikely for either man, as they come in at +3000 and +2000, respectively.
